SYNOPSIS: Mario is a movie based on Nintendo's Super Mario Bros video game series. In Super Mario Bros. – The Movie, Mario (Chris Pratt) is a random plumber in the neighborhood of Brooklyn along with his brother Luigi (Charlie Day). One day, Mario and Luigi go to the Mushroom Kingdom, ruled by Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), but threatened by the King of the Koopas, Bowser (Jack Black), who will do everything to be able to reign everywhere. That's when Luigi is kidnapped by Bowser and uses him to look for Mario, the only one capable of stopping the Koopa and restoring peace. Mario will have to learn how to live in this dangerous new kingdom, going through several biomes, learning how to drive cars, using items that make him release fireballs from his hands, turning into an animal and walking on unreliable platforms. He will also be accompanied by friends such as Toad (Keegan-Michael Key) and Donkey Kong (Seth Rogan).
